About Me

I am a photographer and digital artist, a nomad at the crossroads of art, technology, and philosophy.  My medium may vary from photography to 3D, from AI to collages, but my belief in the transformative power of images remain constant. My condition of aphantasia (inability to visualize mental images) leads me to imagine with open eyes, embodying a Deleuzian attitude who seeks new ways of seeing. Are these images the ramblings of a Schizo on an expedition or the musings of a neurotic on an analyst’s couch? Am i breaking away from conventional paths to forge new trails or these are just the sorrow that often accompanies my journeys because of the nature of the geography I live in, where joy is a scarce artifact of a bygone era, makes it challenging to discern the nature of these images.  But one thing I know for sure: whatever I do, I do it driven by conatus—the effort to persevere in existence. These images, born out of a struggle to survive, but are they a signifier of lack or an overflow of creative process? Am I searching for new possibilities of life or am I in mourning? These are the questions I seek to answer.
